The Nudge: Why do some blog photos end up being left on the cutting room floor? One reason is the quality of the photos. For instance, the lighting is sometimes wrong or the photos are blurry. The other reason is the look turns out to be a style “miss”. A style “miss” is just that, for a variety of reasons I just don’t end up being satisfied with how it looks. I hope you enjoy seeing and reading about a few of my reject blog photos…
This red and green ensemble is a style “miss”. The style and color of the striped red shirt was not complimentary on me. Also, I didn’t like the large army green bag paired with the army green pants – too much green.
I loved this combination that I wore to an evening party, but none of the pictures were in focus.
This look didn’t photograph well at all. The lighting was too dark. It’s hard to even see what I’m wearing. The low quality photos don’t do the jacket and pant pairing justice.
I thought this outfit was going to be a hit, but when I saw the photos I hated it. The leggings were not complimentary on me at all and the ankle boots were the wrong boot to pair them with. Plus, I just don’t like myself in all black.
Loved this mix, but none of the photos, except this one, turned out.
This everyday outfit was great too, but the quality of the photos wasn’t.
