The Nudge: I’m going out on a fashion limb today to say that camouflage print can be used as neutral wardrobe piece.
Camouflage fabric was specifically designed to blend into it’s natural surroundings. There are many different types of camo print, but in general they are made with tones of green and brown. Because of this tone on tone color scheme, the camouflage print acts as one color. So, as a fashion piece, it blends so well with other prints, patterns and colors.
I paired my camo skirt with a neutral tee and jacket, and added pops of orange to complete the look. Camo is quickly becoming my #2 favorite neutral, right behind my beloved leopard print, of course.
You can style camo to stand out, or to blend in. Either way, you will be surprised at it’s versatility, it blends beautifully with all kinds of pieces. So, be bold and Blend Your Camo!
